St. Ambrose Rummage Sale

Congratulations on the hard work by the Blue Cross Mission Ladies.  Results for the Rummage sale was $2,077.03

ADA Update

Goal       $38,338.00
Pledge    $36,513.00 (as of 5/1/12)
Needed   $  1,825.00

Thanks to all who made a pledge to the Annual Diocesan Appeal.  We have received pledge cards from (180 card turned in) parishioners.  A gift to the ADA, no matter how great or small, can go a long way.  A pledge of $10 or $20 a month can add up.  Even a one-time gift is helpful to the cause.  To those who have contributed, we are most grateful.  If you have not yet made a gift to the ADA, we invite you to do so today.  There are pledge cards in the pew.  Every dollar raised to make our goal supports important diocesan services and every dollar raised over our goal will be kept in the parish.

Beehive Bazaar

Will be held on Saturday, Sept 22nd, 2012 from 9 am to 3 pm in the Parish Center.  Featured are quilts, bake sale, crafts and raffles.  Jane Hartman, chair, 309-534-8186 for information.

Parish Council Elections

The Parish Council had three (3) new people that inquired to become members on the Parish Council. Since there was no abundance of people who inquired to become members of the Parish Council, no voting was needed by the Parish as a whole.

Our new members to the Parish Council are: Susan Griffiths, Gerry Winkelbauer and Preston Zawada. Congratulations to all of you. We welcome you!

The April meeting is changed to Thursday, April 19, 2012, 7 pm in the Parish Center. There are changes to the May and June dates as well. The changes came through after the calendars were posted on the website. Please
write in the following dates: Tuesday, May 8 and Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 7 pm in the Parish Center.

Parish Newsletter Options

Since our revised Website began last year, our Newsletter has been posted there usually every other month.  the next newsletter will be March/April covering Lent and Easter.  The Parish Council wanted to offer another method fro the newsletter via email.  It would be in a PDF file.  If you would prefer to receive the Parish Newsletter via email. please send an email to Sr. Claudia, Administrative Assistant stating NEWSLETTER.  She will put you on the list.  Now, this means you will NOT receive a hard copy.  Click here to send an email to Sr. Claudia
